WHAT A MOVIE!
By Crazy Frame
Well I just watched Bucket List.  I had a few gripes.  It was about the accidental friendship between a smart mechanic with a good heart, and a greedy hotel owner that played by his own rules.  Cancer was the catalyst for this friendship.  They were both told they’d die in about 6 months, so they decided to comprise a list, a bucket list, a list of things to do before they died.  What a good idea.  And so they were off, off to do everything they’ve always wanted to do.  Cancer forced them to live life to the fullest. The wife wasn’t happy, but who cares, she wasn’t the one dying.  Their friendship grew and grew.  I liked that.  Then in Hong Kong, half way through the list, Jack tricks Morgan into going back to his wife, it was supposed to be a good deed, I don’t know, it seemed lame to me.  Then Morgan tried to trick Jack into seeing his daughter, and Jack got mad.  I didn’t see the point in that.  Everything was going great.  They were getting at that list.  I don’t see the point in having problems in movies.  I wouldn’t mind a movie that went smooth the whole way through.  Anyway Morgan is happy with his family, then dies, and this is when Jack realizes he’s got to finish up the list for his friend.  So that’s what he does. He even reunites with his daughter, and that’s when we realize that perhaps it is not just adventure and fulfilled ambition, but love as well, that truly makes a life great. Cancer made each of them challenge old beliefs and brought them to the realization of what truly matters.  Man I loved this movie.  I think I’m gonna watch the end again.  That was my favorite part, I was balling away.  I give it 2 and a ½  out of 5 stars.
